Your holiday photos
How to extend the pleasure of the holidays and keep smiling during the back-to-school period? It's simple: create a very personal decor with your holiday photos! Give yourself a treat!
Select your most beautiful holiday photos
Start, of course, by selecting your most beautiful holiday photos. Prefer photos that are most true to the atmosphere of the places visited, the joy of meeting people. Alternate between landscapes and portraits. Don't hesitate to choose slightly quirky or unexpected shots. Nothing is more monotonous than a whole series (often boring) of postcard-like photos.
Personalize your holiday photos
To give more personality to your holiday photos, consider customizing them. For example, staple the entrance ticket of the natural park to that beautiful landscape. Or glue little seashells collected on the beach to that snapshot where your other half is lounging on the sand. With a permanent marker, you can also add small decorative and/or humorous motifs to the photo. In short, be imaginative and creative. Let the artist in you speak, without taking yourself too seriously.
A holiday photo garland
A very simple way to bring a festive air and everlasting holiday vibe to your interior is to hang some of your holiday photos on a string of lights that you can easily find at a modest price in stores. Like little charms, first attach the photos with pretty string, narrow ribbon, or raffia. For an even more original look, don't hesitate to add all sorts of trinkets and other lucky charms or simply small souvenir objects brought back from your holidays. With this garland placed near your headboard, you'll fall asleep every night, soothed by your lovely holiday memories.
A wall of holiday photos
To dress up one of the walls of your home sweet home, purchase a large frame. If you want a graphic and elegant effect, print your photos in black and white in the same format. Then glue them in neat rows on the back of your frame. For a more lush and bohemian effect, print your photos in color. Vary the formats before randomly gluing them on the back of your frame. Then fix your frame on the wall or place it on the floor, simply leaning against the wall.
