"In April, don't shed a single thread", but most importantly, take a trip to Photo Month in Paris. For the first time, Niepce's art is celebrated in spring, so there's no (meteorological) excuse not to enjoy it! Throughout the month of April, give yourself a treat, open your eyes wide, and discover the numerous photo exhibitions in the capital.
PHOTO EXHIBITIONS GALORE
This year's novelty is that the entire Greater Paris is embracing photography, from Clichy-sous-Bois to Mantes-la-Jolie, including Versailles or Châtenay-Malabry. The most beautiful snapshots are displayed on both sides of the peripheral boulevard. During the weekends, it's time to fully enjoy exhibitions, conferences, signings, and other highlights, spread out across various municipalities. Three intense weekends are planned:
- The intense North/East weekend, on April 8 and 9
- The intense South/West weekend, on April 22 and 23
- The intense Diagonal weekend, on April 29 and 30.
Hop on the free bus available on Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 7:00 PM, and let it take you away.
POSE WITH THE FAMILY
This year, a particular initiative catches the eye: the Great Parisians project. It offers families from the Greater Paris to have their portraits taken. It's free and it takes place at the Magasins Généraux in Pantin, in three temporary photo studios. The shoot lasts a good twenty minutes. You'll leave with a professional snapshot. A second print of your family portrait will join a temporary and evolving exhibition. So don't hesitate and go pose with your family. You are the stars! On this occasion, why not start a new family photo album that you can fill with your own 'homemade' snapshots? Nothing could be easier with FlexiLivre: choose, according to your desires, from the various themes of our family photo albums and, with a few clicks, create your album!
