Our Photo Album Printers
Our workshop is equipped with professional HP Indigo printers. These industrial printers are fast and offer very high definition print quality. With exceptional color image quality and remarkable precision. These are the same printers that are used for professional works that you find in bookstores.
Our teams regularly test all of our printers, to ensure optimal color rendering. This guarantees that you will receive impeccable print quality that is consistent over time.
We are convinced that our customers deserve professional results, and we strive to make this the case with every photo album. We continuously monitor technology developments, and we regularly update our equipment to always offer you the most recent printing technologies. At the moment, the most modern printers on the market are the HP 12000 and the Xerox IGEN 5. These are the printers we work with every day.
Continuous Quality Control
Before we ship any photo book, we check every page of every photo album. In the world of industrial printing, it's rare, but defects can occur. When we detect any problem (color variations, cutting too close to the edges, marks, etc.), we systematically reprint the photo albums.
We also have a series of programs and algorithms that constantly check our clients' photos to ensure that the colors and sharpness are good enough for optimal printing. And if after all these checks, you were to receive a photo album with any problem, we will replace it immediately and for free as quickly as possible.
Quality of Our Paper
All our photo albums are printed on very high-quality professional paper. This allows for a perfect finish and works that last over time. In printer's jargon, our paper is called: Semi-gloss coated double-sided gloss paper.
This type of paper allows you to obtain a photo book of superior quality to what you would find in bookstores! This paper is mainly produced in Europe following very strict quality standards and environmental impact. For example, it only comes from sustainably managed forests.
Responsible Company
We have chosen to have a minimal impact on the environment. For this, we initially selected a printer that adheres to the Imprim'Vert label.
This allows us to have precise criteria in our industrial choices. For example, in the choice of our printing inks. We only choose vegetable-based inks that have little or no impact on the environment. The same goes for our paper suppliers. We only work with suppliers whose papers are either from sustainably managed forests or recycled (for our packaging).
We are aware that these choices only allow us to reduce our impact on the environment. We at FlexiLivre wish to go further.
We want to go further, and more than preserving our environment, we want to help beautify it.
We are currently working on a project that will allow us to plant a tree for every album printed. This will be our first step in improving our environment!
In general, we do everything in our power to limit any negative impact on the environment. For example, we have revised our packaging which now all comes from recycled sources. A large proportion of the products and materials we use are recyclable. And we hope to achieve 100% recyclability by the end of 2020.
